Apple updated the developer guidelines, which won’t allow you to mine cryptocurrencies with your iOS device.
If you you’ve been using your iPhone X (or any other iPhone) to get some BitCoin or some other cryptocurrencies, you’re out of luck. The new rules implemented by the tech giant Apple don’t allow any mining.

But even if you did try and mine some cryptocurrencies, you’d have a bad time, since none of the iPhones have the power necessary to actually be of any use for mining. The new rules Apple has implemented say that apps cannot drain the battery at a rapid pace, nor put excessive load on the device and generate excessive heat.

On Apple’s website, it says…
2.4 Hardware Compatibility
2.4.2 Design your app to use power efficiently. Apps should not rapidly drain battery, generate excessive heat, or put unnecessary strain on device resources. Apps, including any third party advertisements displayed within them, may not run unrelated background processes, such as cryptocurrency mining.
So yeah, if you ever had any plans about using your iPhone to get some cryptocurrencies, you’re out of luck.
