After many speculations HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia X6 specification at an event in China.
Love it or hate it, Nokia has embraced the notch with the new Nokia X6. But it is not really that bad, since the notch is pretty small, taking only a small portion of the top chin. And the bottom chin is really slim, too. Nokia really did do well with the bezels.
How ever, the Nokia X6, as rumored, is not a powerhouse, nor a flagship. It is a pretty decent mid-range, budget-oriented device. Here are the basic specs you need to know…
- Snapdragon 636
- Up to 6 GB of RAM
- Up to 64 GB of internal storage
- Dual-cameras at the rear, 16 MP main camera and a 5 MP monochrome camera
- 3,060 mAh battery
- 3.5 mm headphone jack (weird that you have to call this a feature)

But there is more to that than just specs. Just like any phone released today, it has some kind of AI. The Nokia X6 is no exception. It includes features such as automatic color balance adjustment and facial recognition (nothing new nor ground shattering, but hey, it is there).
The X6 is available to pre-order in China from today in black, dark blue and silver colour finishes, in three configurations. 4GB/32GB for CNY 1,299, 4GB/64GB for CNY 1,499 and 6GB/64GB for CNY 1,699. Approximate conversions price the phones at $200, $235 and $265 respectively. There’s currently no word on a global release.
