Before some days, it was discovered that Samsung had a website which would let you input your device details to see if it had an issue by looking at the code etched on the bottom of the back of the device, then plugging it into a box on the page.
Now, however, Samsung has decided to make it a little bit easier for starters to see if they need to return their unit as it has updated its official Samsung+ application in the Play Store with the same functionality as its website.
For those of you who already have Samsung+ on your Galaxy Note 7 and would like to install the update, just follow the given instructions.
- Simply open up the Play Store
- Toggle the hamburger menu on the left-hand side of the screen
- Select ‘My Apps’, click on ‘Samsung+’
- Then hit the update button.
