Adaptive Battery setting coming to Android P

Adaptive battery on Android P will help you save that precious battery life in a smart way.

Google partnered up with DeepMind for this one. As the name says, this new feature will give you more battery life, in a “smart” way.

Unlike some battery saving apps or services, which straight out kill any apps that are running, Adaptive Battery will monitor which apps you use, and how you use them. Then, by using the collected data, it will be able to prioritize battery power to apps that you use the most. Apps that you don’t use a lot will probably be put in a Doze state, something like an per-app basis for Doze mode.  Google also says that they are using adaptive bringthnes which learns how you like to set the brightness slider given your surroundings.
