Chrome OS is becoming more and more Android.
Chrome OS has definitely evolved a lot in it’s 7 year lifespan. On the very beginning, it was basically a web browser, running as an OS. Today, however, things have changed. Right now, Chrome OS has Google Assistant, touch-friendly interface, lock-screen notifications etc… You get the point – it is almost Android. It even has full access to the Play Store and all the apps!
According to this report from XDA, Android P was mentioned in the GIT commits a few times. This could mean that Android P will be somehow integrated in future versions of Android P. Chrome and Android have been on a crash course for a while now. Android P could finally be merge point.
