This info is available thanks to some folks over at XDA who dug deep into the Android P beta code and found some references to these features. While it by no means confirms the features, it makes us believe that the features will be there. Specifically, the code makes reference to a new class of charging device, a dock that would juice up your phone without any cables.

Other parts of the code refer to the Active Edge. This feature allows you to squeeze the edges of the device to active the Google Assistant, snooze alarms etc. It will be very nice if these features are found on the final Pixel 3.
