YouTube on Android adds Incognito mode

You can now hide all those YouTube sessions that you don’t want others to see.

The Incognito mode for YouTube is still being tested, and Android Police first noticed it. The Incognito option is in your account settings, and works the same way as Incognito mode works on Google Chrome, or the same way you can pause your viewing history on YouTube.

While YouTube doesn’t have content you want to hide from your history, the ability to temporarily go Incognito is welcome. Maybe you’re watching reviews for someone’s gift, or maybe a tutorial for a birthday present, and you don’t want the other person to see that, considering you’re using the same account.

Do you find this new feature useful? I mean, it isn’t really a new feature, it has been there for a long time, just under a different name, “Pause your viewing history”.
