Looks like Samsung is not yet done with the Galaxy S8 series. It looks like there will be a Galaxy S8 Lite soon.
Even though the S8 is “last-gen”, it is still an awesome device. And it looks like Samsung wants to add another phone to the S8 family – the Galaxy S8 Lite. Samsung already has the popular budget phone, the A8 and the A8+, but they might add another budget phone, just because they can.

It will use the same shell as the S8 – probably have the same feel and look as the S8. However, inside, it is a different story. Rumors point to a Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage with microSD expansion, and a 3000mAh battery. The TENAA filing reveals the S8 Lite will have a 5.8″ display, matching the S8, but with a lower resolution of 1080 x 2220.

However, don’t get too excited. It looks like it will only launch in China, and there is no word about na international launch.
