Samsung galaxy s8 full-screen OLED display

Over the weekend Samsung made sure that next year’s flagship smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy S8 – remained in the minds of the geekerati. Although not revealing any specific details, Samsung Vice Chairman Lee Jae-Yong labeled the upcoming S8 as having a “slick design” and an “improved camera.”

A new Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S8 is going to introduce some major hardware changes to the flagship lineup one of which is expected to be a nearly full-screen OLED display.

Currently, the average display area ratio stands at about 80 percent among smartphones in the market. The researcher added Samsung may elevate the figure to 99 percent in the coming years, which means nearly every nook and corner of a handset is covered with a display panel.

It has also ruled out an early launch for the Galaxy S8 so we should expect to see it at Mobile World Congress 2017 in February.
