Anyways, the new repair program covers replacements of one or more defective keys, or even the whole keyboard if needed. Eligible laptops are those up to four years old after the computer was bought at retail. This covers all MacBooks and MacBook Pros models with the defective keyboards.

On Apple’s service page, it says…

  • Letters or characters repeat unexpectedly
  • Letters or characters do not appear
  • Key(s) feel “sticky” or do not respond in a consistent manner

It is nice to see that Apple has admitted their mistake and offer help the affected users.
