We’ve recently found out that Valve will bring Steam Link to mobile devices. But from today, you can use your Steam controller with your mobile device.
In their latest announcement, Valve said that the latest beta client update enables Bluetooth Low Energy function. This enables the Steam controller to be used with your phone or tablet.

The controller comes with a wireless dongle, and Valve does recommend that you use that, however, the Bluetooth option is a very nice addition.Bluetooth is slightly slower, but you probably won’t experience any lag.
To get the Bluetooth feature, you’ll have to opt into the latest Steam Client Beta and choose to “update firmware now”. Since it is a beta, don’t be surprised if you run into a few bugs.
